BYU releases fall schedule
PROVO, Utah – BYU softball announced its fall schedule Thursday, which features six home games and two away games.
“We're excited for the fall competition because it allows us to bring the freshmen into our culture,” BYU head coach Gordon Eakin said. “It also allows us to prepare our team for the regular season beginning in February.”
The Cougars are riding off of another successful season. They finished 2017 with a 46-13 record, a ninth-straight conference title and the 13th-consecutive NCAA tournament berth. The team returns West Coast Conference Player of the Year Caitlyn Alldredge and Freshman of the Year Rylee Jensen, along with multiple All-WCC players. Additionally, there are six newcomers on the team this year.
