Bull wins second-straight WCC Pitcher of the Week nod
SAN BRUNO, Calif. – For the fourth time this season, McKenna Bull was named West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week after her impressive play last week.
Bull picked up her fourth honor of the season and second straight. BYU softball has won six of the seven WCC Pitcher of the Week nods this season.
In three complete games, Bull picked up two wins, including an upset of No. 11/13 Utah in Provo. She totaled 22 strikeouts and just four walks with a 1.40 ERA. Against Utah, she had five strikeouts in the win, her third against a top-25 opponent. In the first game of the doubleheader against Dartmouth, Bull pitched BYU to victory again, throwing 10 strikeouts. It was her second game this season tossing double-digit Ks and the 18th of her career. That win made her the BYU career wins leader, surpassing Paige Affleck's 91 wins.
