BYU to play four games in Oklahoma this weekend
PROVO, Utah – Riding an upset of No. 15 Arizona, BYU softball gears up for four games in Oklahoma this Friday and Saturday, including two against the No. 13/14 Sooners.
The Cougars (12-8) are fresh off of a 3-2 weekend at the Wildcat Invitational where they defeated No. 15 Arizona. The game was BYU’s first win over a top-15 team on the road since 2010 against No. 7 Texas in the NCAA Regional.
Junior pitcher McKenna Bull leads the team from the circle after being named the West Coast Conference Pitcher of the Week for her third-straight time. In the nation, she is first in total strikeouts with 125. She also moved into third place all-time at BYU in shutouts with 14 after recording her third of the season against UTEP.
Maryland | Friday, March 11, 1:15 p.m. CST
The Terrapins are 6-13 so far in 2016, with their best win coming against Florida Atlantic, who is receiving votes, in 11 innings. As a team, Maryland has a .295 batting average. This Big Ten team is led by Kristina Dillard, who has 14 RBI and 24 hits with a .387 batting average.

The 12-4 Sooners are off to a great start in 2016. They are currently on a four-game winning streak and have notched six shutouts this season. Oklahoma has defeated two top-20 teams: No. 20 Fresno State and No. 10 UCLA. Freshman Shay Knighten is a highlight on the team with five home runs on the season and five multi-RBI games this year.
Saint Louis | Saturday, March 12, 11 a.m. CST
The Saint Louis Billikens are sitting on an even 7-7 record in 2016, winning their last two. In the last game against Southeast Missouri, Saint Louis edged out a 4-3 win. Last season, the Billikens finished with a 36-18 record, including a 18-5 record in the Atlantic 10 Conference.
