COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Taylor Sander of the BYU men's volleyball team has been chosen to be part of a 25-player roster to compete for the 2012 FIVB World League as a member of the U.S. Men's National Volleyball Team.

The team can choose 14 players from that roster to compete in each of the 2012 FIVB World League weekends. Different rosters can be selected for each weekend and even the final round.

Sander joins former BYU players Ryan Millar, Rich Lambourne and Russell Holmes on the roster.

"I feel really good about the players on our World League roster," said U.S. Men's Head Coach Aland Knipe. "While Olympic qualifying is our most important goal for the first part of this season, World League will be a very important tournament for us as well."

The final round of FIVB World League will be played on July 4 - 8 in Sofia, Bulgaria. The four pool winners (in the FIVB World League Intercontinental Round), plus the second-place team and host Bulgaria will advance to this final round.

The United States will host Italy, France and Korea at the Dallas Convention Center Arena on June 29 - July 1.
