Cougar Volleyball Fans Rank Best in Nation
PROVO, Utah - The third-ranked BYU men's volleyball team is currently averaging the most home fans among all other NCAA Division I-II men's volleyball programs.
The Cougars are almost doubling the next closest team, Hawaii, in their average home attendance through the first six weeks of the regular season.
BYU had at least 4,000 fans attend each of the four home matches this season, incluidng a packed 5,124 in attendance for the home opener against USC. That home opener remains the highest attended NCAA men's volleyball match this season.
Beginning this weekend, the Cougars will play eight-straight home matches in the Smith Fieldhouse. This Friday and Saturday, Feb. 17 & 18, BYU hosts Cal Baptists at 7 p.m. MT
