Volleyball Team Headed to Italy
PROVO -- After finishing ranked No. 2 in the nation for the 2010 season, the BYU men’s volleyball team will travel to Italy May 17-29 to play four matches and tour around the area.
The Cougars will play Sisley Volley Treviso in Treviso on May 19 at 7 p.m., they will do a service project at the junior high school in Casteggio and play their second match against Centro Adolescere Voghera May 21 at 8 p.m.
After traveling to Milano, the team will then play its third match against Volley Segrate 1978 May 22 at 6:30 p.m. On Sunday, May 23, the team will attend Church in Pavia and host a fireside in Milano at 7:30 p.m. that night.
After shopping, hiking, swimming and guided tours, the team will next travel to Rome to play the final match against Blu College (Italian Junior Team) May 27 at 7 p.m. and will head back to Utah May 29.
