Chilton Named to MPSF All-Tournament Squad
PROVO -- After a grueling weekend of play at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Conference Tournament, BYU setter Reed Chilton was named to the All-Tournament team for his performance against Cal State Northridge Thursday.
“Reed is always consistent at his position and he deserves to be recognized more than he is,” said BYU head coach Shawn Patchell. “He’s been a great asset to this team this year and deserves this award.”
Along with four Stanford players, two Cal State Northridge players and one Hawaii player, Chilton was the lone Cougar to be selected to the All-Tournament team.
Chilton tallied 52 assists against the Matadors, adding seven digs and three blocks. He also chalked up one kill, hitting at a .250 clip.
