BYU faces Stanford in the 2023 MPSF Semifinals

PALO ALTO, Calif. — After a 3-1 win against Concordia, the No. 2 seeded BYU men's volleyball team is set to play the No. 3 seed Stanford in the MPSF semifinals on Thursday at 7:05 p.m. PDT in the Maples Pavilion.

Stanford (14-12) defeated USC  3-1 (21-25, 25-21, 26-24, 25-15) in the MPSF quarterfinals yesterday evening. One week ago, the Cougars defeated Stanford in back-to-back games in their final matches of the regular season, winning 3-1 (25-20, 19-25, 25-21, 26-24) and 3-0 (25-22, 25-23, 25-19).

If the Cougars win the match, they will play the winner of the No. 1 UCLA vs No. 5 GCU semifinals matchup which is set for this afternoon at 4:30 p.m. PDT in Maples Pavilion.
