Men's Volleyball Announces 2021 Schedule
PROVO, Utah – BYU men’s volleyball head coach Shawn Olmstead and his staff have released the 2021 schedule. The schedule features matchups against MPSF teams exclusively, in multiple home-and-home series.
The season opens the weekend of Feb. 4 and 6 at home against UCLA. The Bruins are ranked ninth in the preseason AVCA national poll and third in the MPSF.
The next series of matches will take place in Provo, featuring No. 7 Pepperdine Feb. 12-13, and No. 10 Grand Canyon Feb. 18 and 20.
A group of road matches will take place next, starting at Grand Canyon and followed by trips to Concordia Irvine and USC. The Cougars then return home to take on Stanford March 12-13.
Up next are road matches in California, BYU will play Pepperdine March 19-20, and at Concordia Irvine March 26-27, in back-to-back weekends.
USC will come to Provo to play the Cougars April 1-2. That series will be followed by matches at UCLA April 9-10, to close out the regular season.
The MPSF Tournament is currently scheduled for April 22-24.
At this time, only families of players will be permitted to attend matches at the Smith Fieldhouse.
All home matches will be broadcast through BYUtv or the BYUtv App.
