PROVO, Utah – The BYU track and field team will fully transition to the 2021 outdoor season at the UNLV Invitational held at the Myron Partridge Stadium March 18-20.

Meet Information

The Cougars are coming off one of the most successful weeks in program history with the program capturing four national titles across indoor track and field and cross country.

The women’s track and field team finished seventh overall at the 2021 NCAA Indoor Championships behind national titles from the distance medley relay team and Courtney Wayment in the 3000m. The men’s team tied for 16th with national runner-up Zach McWhorter and All-American Caleb Witsken scoring 11 points in the pole vault.

The women’s cross country team were crowned national champions after a dominant performance at the 2020 NCAA Cross Country Championships on Monday. Conner Mantz’s incredible performance at the championship meet led him to a 22-second victory and the third men’s cross country individual national title in program history.

A squad of javelin throwers officially opened up the outdoor season for BYU two weeks ago, competing in the UNLV Spring Opener at the Myron Partridge Stadium. Both Cameron Bates and All-American Ashton Riner recorded personal records and improved their positions on the BYU Top 10 list. The rest of the team will start the outdoor season this weekend.
