BYU Tennis Earns Six MWC All-Academic Awards
PROVO, Utah (June 27, 2011) – The Mountain West Conference announced six BYU tennis athletes as recipients of the 2011 Academic All-Conference Award on Monday.
Athletes qualify for the award by achieving a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher and being a significant contributor to their respective team.
Five members of the women’s tennis team were given the award including Elle Carney, Callie Craig, Kelsie Craig, Elizaveta Ezhova and Megan Price.
The men’s tennis team was represented on the award list by Roman Warias, a senior from Meerbusch, Germany.
