PROVO -- Conference play will continue for the No. 68 BYU men's tennis team as it faces Air Force on Friday and No. 46 San Diego State on Saturday, both at 10 a.m. in Colorado Springs.

The team is 9-12 on the year and 0-3 in conference play coming off a tough six-day, five match road trip. The Cougars started with a big win over No. 61 Stanford, but ended the week with three close losses in their first conference matches.

BYU head coach Brad Pearce is optimistic about his team's chances at the Air Force Academy because he said the thinner air and faster courts are better suited for his team's talents.

"I think it will be a good opportunity to play the same teams at the same place we're going to be playing in the conference championship and to get a feel for the courts and the altitude," head coach Brad Pearce said.

The weather forecast for Saturday calls for snow, and in the case of inclement weather the match will be moved to 1 p.m. indoors.
