PROVO -- The BYU men's tennis team will be in action Friday as they take on Northern Arizona University and the University of San Francisco in a doubleheader in Provo. The Cougars look to even their record at 3-3 on the year after coming off a tough but positive road trip in Southern California.

"I think we have some good opportunities for some wins so I hope we get the taste of winning back in our mouths," BYU head coach Brad Pearce said.

Last weekend, the team lost a close match to a good Irvine team and another to No. 4 UCLA. Coach Pearce said he was pleased with the way his team played at UCLA and is optimistic about his chances against NAU and USF.

"We're not looking back," Pearce said. "We've seen some things in the first couple of matches that we have an eye on in terms of performance and doubles combos that we are addressing in practice."

The first match will begin against NAU at 11 a.m. and the second against USF will start at 5 p.m. Admission to all matches is free and BYU "Y Lot" parking is available to visitors after 4 p.m.
