Men Take To The Road, Head To Boise

After four consecutive home meets, the BYU men's tennis team will take to the road this week as they headto Boise to compete with Southern Mississippi on Friday and Drake University on Saturday.

The Cougars evened their season record at 4-4 last Saturday when they defeated Montana State, 6-1, at the BYU Indoor Tennis Courts.

Drake University is 3-4 on the season. They have victories over Toledo, Creighton and Nebraska, but have lost to Denver, Purdue, Northern Iowa and Iowa.

Drake is led by their two seniors, Stephen Killian and Tim Miller.

Southern Mississippi is 2-6 on the year and has victories over Troy State and UL Monroe, with losses to Louisiana State, Alabama, Mississippi State, Miami, South Alabama and Florida A&M.

The Eagles are led by junior Miikka Kangas of Helsinki, Finland, ranked No. 7 in the nation.
