BYU concludes season opener at Hawai'i Invitational
HONOLULU — BYU men's tennis concluded play in the Hawai'i Invitational at the UH Tennis Complex on Saturday. Opening the season in Mānoa, the Cougars picked up three singles wins each day and either two or all three doubles matches each day.
"Hawai'i was beautiful and an excellent preparation for the season," said BYU head coach Dave Porter. "We were 8-1 in doubles and 9-12 in singles for an overall record of 17 wins and 13 losses. We did some good things and learned some other things that we still need to work on. We're excited for the season to begin."
