Hill falls in first round of NCAA Singles Championships
ORLANDO, Fla. — BYU men's tennis graduate senior Sean Hill fell to Finn Reynolds of Ole Miss 3-6, 3-6, at the USTA National Campus on Saturday night.
After Hill won the first game in set one, Reynolds took a 3-1 lead. Hill rallied to make it 4-3, but Reynolds closed out the first set, winning 6-3.
In the second set, Hill tied things up a 2-apiece before Reynolds won three-straight games to lead 5-2. Hill won the next game to make it 5-3, but Reynolds closed it out shortly after, winning again, 6-3.
Hill finished his final season at BYU with a 17-3 record in singles play.
