Hill enters Oracle ITA Singles Rankings
PROVO, Utah — BYU men's tennis graduate senior Sean Hill entered the Oracle ITA Division 1 Men's Doubles Rankings on Tuesday, coming in at No. 101.
Hill was ranked No. 98 in the Oracle ITA Men's Singles Preseason Rankings, but had yet to break into the rankings this season. He has been ranked as high as No. 89 in his career.
The Intercollegiate Tennis Association uses a computer rankings system to rank the top 125 singles players in the country. This is the third week that singles rankings have been released since the Preseason Rankings, with the ITA pausing rankings last week. There will be two more releases this season, with the final rankings scheduled to come out on April 28.
Hill has played in the No. 1 spot for the entirety of the season, boasting a 13-2 record on the year. He most recently took down now ITA No. 68 and then 30th ranked August Holmgren of San Diego 2-6, 6-3, 7-5, last Saturday.
