BYU Men's Tennis huddles after win over Grand Canyon

PROVO, Utah — The BYU men's tennis team will be at home again this weekend, facing Weber State at 3 p.m. MST at the BYU Indoor Tennis Courts. The Cougars (1-0) look to begin their season 2-0, while the Wildcats play their first match of the season.

Each doubles pair (Mateo Vereau Melendez/Matheus Ferreira Leite, Sam Tullis/Ben Gajardo, and Sean Hill/Jack Barnett) picked up wins last weekend against Grand Canyon. Barnett, Sam Tullis, Ben Gajardo, Hill, and Dominik Jakovljevic earned a singles win against the Lopes as well.

Weber State's six players all return with 2019-2020 match experience. The Wildcats went 8-7 in the COVID shortened season.

As a reminder, only family members are allowed to attend home matches until further notice. Family members will need to be on a pre-existing list and provide photo ID in order to attend.
