LOS ANGELES – The BYU men’s tennis team wrapped up its fall season with a final match at the Southern California Intercollegiate on Saturday.

“Our fall season has come to an end and we have a lot to be proud of,” BYU head coach Brad Pearce said. “The guys finished strong today and became better tennis players during the week. We’ll get immediately into our offseason training and continue to build on the successes that we’ve enjoyed. I’m so proud of the heart and work ethic of this group of guys.”

Ben Gajardo and Sam Tullis faced Filip Kolansinski and Kento Perera of Stanford in the doubles quarterfinals. Despite battling back against the pair, the BYU duo came up short 8-6.

The Cougars head home and will prepare for the winter season, as the So Cal Intercollegiate was their last tournament of the fall season.
