TULSA, Okla. – After a week of tournament play, BYU’s Sean Hill concluded play at the ITA All-American tournament Friday.

“I'm really impressed with Sean today,” BYU assistant coach Aidan Carrazedo said. “He beat a very good player from Miami. This has been a great week for him and it’s an important stepping stone for the rest of the fall. He proved he can beat anyone in college tennis.”

Hill upset No. 21 Adria Soriano Barrera of the University of Miami in two sets, 6-4, 6-4, in the consolation round of 16. In the consolation quarterfinals, Hill fell to the University of Arizona’s Jonas Ziverts, 0-6, 4-6.

The BYU team will travel to Denver, Colorado on Wednesday, Oct. 16, to compete in the ITA Regional Championships.
