No. 42 BYU to face No. 24 San Diego at home
PROVO, Utah – No. 42 BYU men’s tennis returns home to host No. 24 San Diego on Saturday at 12 p.m. MDT at the Outdoor Tennis Courts.
The Cougars (15-3, 4-1 WCC) went 1-1 on WCC play over the weekend. BYU claimed a 7-0 victory over Portland after a 2-4 setback against Gonzaga. The Cougars hold an undefeated 10-0 record on their home courts. Sean Hill and Jeffrey Hsu are ranked No. 44 nationally in doubles for BYU, and Hill holds a No. 123 singles ranking.
The Toreros (14-3, 4-0 WCC) are coming off three wins from their Spring Invite. They defeated Memphis 4-0, No. 50 Princeton 4-1 and No. 49 Tulane 4-3. Gui Osorio is ranked No. 67 nationally in singles for San Diego, and Joel Gamerov and August Holmgren are No. 46 in doubles.
