BYU to Play WCC Foe Santa Clara at Home

PROVO, Utah – BYU men’s tennis returns home to host WCC foe Santa Clara Saturday, Feb. 9, at 5 p.m. MDT at the Indoor Tennis Courts.

The Cougars (5-2, 0-0 WCC) are coming off a solid 4-3 win against Utah State. Sam Tullis clinched Saturday’s win for BYU with a three-set victory over Duro Opacic of Utah State. Doubles-duo Tullis and Ben Gajardo continue to aid the Cougars with their undefeated record of 6-0.

The Broncos (4-1, 0-0 WCC) are coming off two wins over the weekend. They topped Liberty 6-1 on Saturday and then defeated Washington in a close 4-3 match Sunday. The roster boasts an older lineup, with only two underclassmen.
