Hill, Hsu named WCC Doubles Team of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Sophomore Sean Hill and junior Jeffrey Hsu were honored as the West Coast Conference Doubles Team of the Week after their strong performance against Northern Arizona and Boise State.

Hill and Hsu defeated No. 53 ranked Tim Handel and Ruben Montano of Northern Arizona 6-3. The BYU duo had lost to the no. 53 ranked Handel and Montano duo last October in the semifinal round of the ITA Mountain Regional Tournament.

The doubles duo also earned a 6-4 victory over Boise State’s Kyle Butters and Jack Heslin this past week. Hill and Hsu are undefeated in regular season play at No. 1 doubles for the Cougars.

BYU remains undefeated on the year with a  7-0 record. The team hosts home matches against Utah State and Portland on Feb. 16 and 17, respectively.
