PROVO, Utah— BYU sophomore Sean Hill earned the No. 89 spot in the ITA national tennis rankings after competing in the Fall National Championships.

“I’m excited for Sean, and it’s great to have a player in the national rankings,” BYU head coach Brad Pearce said. “I would like to see him raise his sights to even bigger, more ambitious goals through this season and for the rest of the team to have a ‘me too!’ attitude.”

Hill, a transfer from Wake Forest, opened his first season with the Cougars winning the ITA Regional tournament. He was the first BYU player to represent the Mountain Region at the National Championships in early November.
