PROVO, Utah – Looking to extend its league win streak, BYU men’s tennis takes on San Diego in another West Coast Conference matchup at home on Saturday.

BYU (10-8, 3-0 WCC) posted its third-straight conference win as senior Aidan Carrazedo clinched the 4-3 victory over Pacific on Saturday. Wins from Sam Tullis, Jacob Sullivan and John Pearce also highlighted the Cougars’ victory. Sullivan and sophomore Matthew Pearce lead the team in singles victories with 11 and 10, respectively. BYU is 8-2 at home so far this season.

The Toreros (8-5, 1-0 WCC) wrapped up their San Diego Spring Break Tournament on Saturday with a 4-3 win over Iowa behind strong play from No. 70 Filip Vittek. The Toreros take on No. 29 Wisconsin and Princeton at home this week before traveling to Provo. Last season, No. 66 BYU fell to No. 32 San Diego 4-0. The last time the Cougars beat the Toreros was in 2013.
