Sullivan honored as WCC Singles Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Senior Jacob Sullivan was honored as the West Coast Conference Singles Player of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.   

Sullivan, an Australian native, went 2-0 at the No. 2 slot this weekend for BYU to add to his 8-1 dual season record as he now ties for team-leading singles victories. Sullivan defeated New Mexico's Ricky Hernandez-Tong 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 before taking 12 of 14 games against San Francisco's Ryan Marker 6-0, 6-2 to help the Cougars knock off the Dons for their first WCC win of the season. 

This is Sullivan’s second honor and the second honor BYU has received this season.
