SAN BRUNO, Calif.—Andrey Goryachkov and Shane Monroe have been selected as the West Coast Conference Doubles Team of the Week for the week of April 18.

Goryachkov, a senior, and Monroe, a junior, claimed a crucial 6-2 victory in the first doubles spot over Pepperdine’s No. 51 doubles team of Guilherme Hadlich and Lautaro Pane. Their match led to the Cougars winning the doubles point, which turned out to be crucial for the first ever 4-2 victory over the Waves.

This is the first honor for both players and the third honor that BYU has received this season. Past winners are listed below.
