Last regular season matchups in California this weekend

PROVO, Utah—After a thrilling upset over West Coast Conference opponent Pepperdine, the No. 56 BYU men’s tennis team travels to California this weekend to end WCC regular season play.

The Cougars play Saint Mary’s on Friday, Apr. 22, at 12:00 p.m. and No. 70 Pacific, Saturday, Apr. 23, at 1:00 p.m. Both times are in the PDT.

Saint Mary’s (5-15, 0-7 WCC) lost to Gonzaga and Portland this weekend on the road. The Cougars are 4-1 all-time against the Gaels.  

No. 70 Pacific (13-11, 5-2 WCC) lost at Portland 4-1 on Sunday. The Tigers have the No. 86 doubles team in the nation with Sem Verbeek and Jose Chamba. BYU is 4-2 against Pacific since 2003.
