PROVO, Utah—In-state rival Utah will host the BYU men’s tennis team on Saturday in a Deseret First Credit Union Duel matchup.

“Getting a win over Boise State helped us to prepare this weekend,” BYU head coach Brad Pearce said. “We move from one rival to another. This is what makes college tennis fun—you have extraordinary matches that you don’t want to drop. This is what we play for. Win, lose, or draw, we’ll be ready to fight and compete. Utah has a good record this year, but so do we.  We’re looking forward to the match.”

BYU (8-1) comes off of a 4-0 sweep at home against No. 59 Boise State. Junior captain Keaton Cullimore won the West Coast Conference Player of the Week award for men’s singles after a three-set thriller in the No. 2 singles spot.

Utah is undefeated during the 2016 season (11-0) and recently defeated South Alabama, 6-1, at home.
