SAN BRUNO, Calif.-- Keaton Cullimore, a BYU tennis player, has been named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week for men's singles.

Cullimore, a junior from Sandy, Utah, earned the honor for the week of February 16. Saturday evening, he rallied from behind to beat No. 59 Boise State's Toby Mitchell 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 in the No. 2 singles spot. He also won a thrilling doubles match that evening with teammate Andrey Goryachkov, defeating Boise State's Abe Hewko and Lewis Roskilly in a tiebreaker, 7-6 (7-4).

With an 8-1 record this 2016 season, Cullimore's only loss is to No. 52 Denver's Henry Craig in three sets. He is 5-0 in matches played at home.

This is the first time this year a BYU men's tennis player has earned WCC accolades.
