Cougars host No. 45 New Mexico
PROVO, Utah – BYU men’s tennis looks to build off its 4-2 victory over Santa Clara last Saturday when it hosts No. 45 New Mexico Saturday in Provo.
The Cougars (8-8, 2-0 West Coast Conference) got back in the win column with the victory of Santa Clara and pushed their conference unbeaten streak to two. Francis Sargeant will also look to continue to climb the BYU all-time singles victories list. He currently sits at No. 6 all time with 87 wins.
The Lobos (10-6) come to Provo on a two-match win streak after beating Georgia State twice in a doubleheader last Saturday. New Mexico is led by Samir Iftikhar who is ranked No. 62 nationally in singles.
