PROVO, Utah – For the second time this year, BYU’s Patrick Kawka is the West Coast Conference Men’s Tennis Singles Player of the Month. The Nevada native recorded a 7-1 mark in the month of April, including wins over No. 29 Andrew Bettles from Boise State and No. 8 Sebastian Fanselow from Pepperdine.

Kawka, who is ranked No. 35 nationally and the No. 1 singles player for BYU, led the Cougars to a second-place finish in the league in both the regular season and tournament play.

The junior also won the award for his performance in January.

Last week, Kawka was named to the All-WCC First Team.
