Back-To-Back Weekend

PROVO, Utah – BYU swimmers and divers will spend the weekend in Colorado for back-to-back meets against Air Force on Friday and Denver University on Saturday.

“Air Force beat us at the Arena Invite in November and have a very a strong men’s team,” BYU head coach Tim Powers said. “Our guys will definitely have to be on their game, but we’re looking forward to the competition.”

Only the travel squad for the men’s team will be swimming against the men of Air Force on Friday while the women’s teams will not be competing. The Cougars will then reunite to take on Denver, Saturday at 12 p.m. MST.

“The men are going to be coming off of a tough meet, but we’re expecting them to swim well regardless,” said Powers. “It should be a pretty good match up. They’ve got some great swimmers on both their men and women’s teams.”

The BYU swim and dive teams look to gain two more wins to their record this weekend before heading back to the Richards Building Pool to face off with in-state rival Utah on Jan. 27.
