Watson MWC Diver of Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – BYU junior Brandon Watson earned Mountain West Conference Men's Diver of the Week honors.

Air Force senior Benjamin Gunn and UNLV sophomore Cody Roberts have been named MWC Men's co-Swimmers of the Week, while San Diego State's Stephanie Koch and Wyoming's Allie Smith earned swimming and diving plaudits on the women's side.

Watson, from Riverton, Utah, posted two NCAA zone-qualifying scores on the springboard events at the Wildcat Tucson Invitational in Tucson, Ariz. The junior scored 406.30 points on the 3-meter springboard to pace the field and qualify for the postseason. He also earned NCAA zone qualification with a third-place finish of 373.55 on the 1-meter board.
