2010-11 Swimming and Diving Schedule Announced

PROVO -- The BYU swimming and diving team announced its 2010-11 schedule featuring seven different events to be held at the Richards Building pool during the season.

The Cougars will host five dual meets this season against Denver, Arkansas, Seattle University, Air Force and Wyoming.

The swimmers will also travel to the Pacific Invitational in Stockton, Calif. Oct. 15-16 and the Toshiba Classic in Long Beach, Calif. Nov. 18-20 while the divers will travel to Tucson, Ariz. for the Wildcat Diving Invitational Nov. 19-20.

The MWC Championships will be held in Oklahoma City, Okla. February 23-26, 2011 where the Cougars will vie for a spot at the NCAA National Championships in late March.

BYU will begin its season on Oct. 7 with an unscored meet against the freshmen and sophomores from the University of Utah at 6 p.m. in the Richards Building pool. This meet will be followed by the annual blue and white meet to be held at 6 p.m. on Oct. 8 in Provo as well. Family and friends are invited and encouraged to attend.
