Eight Swimmers to Compete at Utah Invitational
PROVO -- Five members of BYU's women's swimming and diving team and three members of the men's team will be traveling to Salt Lake City to compete in the Utah Invitational Feb. 27-28.
This meet is set up to give swimmers one "last chance" to get a qualifying time for the NCAA championship meet, but women's coach Stan Crump is using it to give swimmers who didn't have the opportunity to swim at the MWC championships.
Swimming for the women's team are Shannon Bloom, who will be swimming her off events, Amy Garrick, Analyn Skabelund, Elizabeth Duffin and Megan Mullen.
On the men's side, Diogo Yabe, Randy Belliston and Kenny Carpenter will be trying to reach NCAA qualifying times.
