Cougars Start Season with the Blue and White Meet
PROVO, Utah --- The BYU men's and women's swimming and diving team will kick off the 2002-03 season with the annual Blue and White meet combined with the Alumni meet this Friday in the Richards Building at 6:00 p.m. (MDT).
In the past the two meets have been held separately, but due to an earlier than normal start the two meets have been combined. Men's head coach Tim Powers said, "The meet is a good way to see if we are ready for competition."
The meet will include many of the regular events that are competed at meets, but will also feature coed relays.
Next week the Cougars open up the season at the Pacific Invitational in Stockton, California, on Oct. 25-26.
