Divers Perform Well at Diving Invite

TUCSON -- BYU sophomore Kelli Einfeldt won the 1-meter diving event for the second day in a row at the Arizona Diving Invitational, Saturday afternoon in Tucson.

Einfeldt scored 254.05 points to finish in first on the second day of the invitational. She also won the 1-meter event Jan. 12.. For the men, sophomore All-American Justin Wilcock finished in fourth-place on the 3-meter board with a score of 291.55. Ruben Vaca of Arizona won the 3-meter event, while sophomore Aaron Russell finished in ninth-place on the 3-meter board with score of 254.55.

The women's divers will continue competition, Jan. 19 against Colorado State and Jan. 20 against the University of Denver and New Mexico State, while the men are off until the Mountain West Conference Championships, Feb 14-17.
