Cougars Named Scholar All-Americans

RICHMOND, Va. - Fifteen members of the 2019-20 BYU swim and dive program were awarded Scholar All-America honors by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America. 

The award recognizes students who achieved a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and achieved a "B" time standard or competed at an NCAA Regional or Zone Diving qualifier.

The list of Cougars includes Kennedy Cribbs, a CSCAA All-American who qualified for the NCAA Championships this past season in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events; Ryan Sorensen, a CoSIDA Academic All-American; Katie McBratney, the MPSF Freshman of the Year; and Gwen Gustafson, school record-holder in the 50 free.
