PROVO, Utah – The BYU swim and dive team will head to Phoenix, Arizona, to compete against Grand Canyon on Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Fr Edward J. Reese Aquatic Center.

“Grand Canyon is a great university and they always bring out the best in us at the beginning of the year,” BYU head coach John Brooks said. “This will be our first and only outdoor meet of the season so the team is really looking forward to it.”

The Cougars are coming off their winter training in Tampa, Florida. During the fall season, BYU had several highlight moments with many of the athletes. Sophomore Josue Dominguez  will be representing the Dominican Republic in the 2020 Summer Olympic Games, while seven other swimmers have qualified for the Olympic Time Trials.

The meet will begin at noon MST and results will be available on the BYU swim and dive schedule page.
