PROVO, Utah – The BYU dive team will head up to Salt Lake City for its third-ever diving invitational against the University of Utah from Dec. 6-7 at Ute Natatorium.

“This weekend’s invite has a similar format to conference,” BYU head dive coach Tyce Rouston said. “We are competing against some strong teams, so the divers will need to step up to reach their potential. We have been working to have an assertive mindset and I’m excited to see what a well-rested team can accomplish.”

BYU divers will compete against Air Force, USC and Utah. During the two-day invite, all divers will compete in the 1-meter and 3-meter events, while the women will also compete in the platform event. Following morning prelims, three divers from each event will be able to go on to finals each night.

On Friday, prelims will begin at 11 a.m. MST with finals following at 6:30 p.m. MST. Saturday’s schedule will include prelims at 10 a.m. MST with finals following at 4:30 MST. Results will be available on the BYU swim and dive page.
