Kevin Dreesen Participates in 3M National Diving Championships
MOULTRIE, Georgia (August 9, 2016) -- Senior-to-be Kevin Dreesen of BYU placed 26th Tuesday at the AT&T National Diving Championships in the 3 meter Springboard preliminaries.
Although only the top 10 advance to the finals, Dressen, from El Cajon, California, represented the Cougars well, achieving an overall score of 265.00.
Dressen gets another opportunity this Saturday when he competes in the 1 meter Springboard prelims in Georgia along with fellow Cougar Matt Denkers, a junior-to-be from Fishers, Indiana. If either of them advance to the finals, they could have a chance to qualify to compete in the 2020 Olympic Trials.
