PROVO, Utah – BYU swim and dive will travel to take on Denver and Minnesota this Friday and Saturday at the El Pomar Natatorium in Denver, Colorado.

“BYU and Denver have had a nice rivalry going for the past few seasons,” BYU head coach John Brooks said. “I have a great deal of respect for their coach, Brian, who I’ve known for a while. This will be the first time BYU has raced Minnesota in a long time, so we are excited to go out there and compete.”

The men’s team will be looking to rebound after a close loss last Saturday to Grand Canyon. The women’s team will try to stay focused and repeat last weekend’s success after beating New Mexico State and Grand Canyon.

Friday night’s meet will start at 4:00 p.m. MST with diving, followed by swimming at 5:30 p.m. MST. The action will continue Saturday morning with diving at 10:30 a.m. MST, followed by swimming at noon. Free admission will be offered and Cougar fans are encouraged to come support the team.
