BYU swim to compete at Texas Invite

PROVO, Utah – BYU swim will travel this week to compete in the Texas Invitational from Wednesday to Saturday at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin, Texas.

“Our team is well rested and we are expecting to see a handful of season-best and lifetime-best times for our swimmers,” BYU head coach John Brooks said. “Historically, the Texas Invite has been an amazing meet for us and I expect our team to come out and compete again this year.”

The Cougars will be competing with several other top teams in the country, including Texas, Arizona, Wisconsin, USC, Harvard, Oklahoma Baptist and UCLA. Wednesday’s events will include two relays, while Thursday and Friday’s meets will feature preliminary rounds in the morning followed by finals for each event in the evening.

Wednesday’s relays will begin at 6 p.m. CST, while Thursday-Saturday’s preliminaries will start at 9 a.m. CST with finals following later at 6 p.m CST. Live results will be available throughout the meet on the live results page.
