Jake Taylor named CollegeSwimming.com MPSF Swimmer-of-the-Week

PROVO, Utah–Jake Taylor was named Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Swimmer-of-the-Week by CollegeSwimming.com after leading the Cougars in two victories against UNLV and Colorado Mesa last Friday and Saturday.

The senior All-American recorded a first-place finish in four individual events over the weekend, including the 100 back (48.40) and 200 back (1:51.66) against UNLV and the 100 breast (57.08) and 100 free (45.24) against Colorado Mesa. He also contributed to BYU wins in the 200 medley against UNLV and both the 200 medley and 400 free relays against Colorado Mesa. Taylor led off the 200 medley relay against UNLV with a 22.77 split. This is Taylor's second selection as CollegeSwimming.com MPFS Swimmer-of-the-Week this season.
