PROVO, Utah – Another weekend of intrasquad competition will prepare the BYU swim and dive team for the season as they host their annual blue and white meet Saturday in the Richards Building pool.

“Blue and white is more about team camaraderie than it is about posting times,” head coach John Brooks said. “This is the opportunity for the teams to race each other and see where they’re at from last weekend to this weekend.”

The swimmers battled it out during practice this week to earn their spots on the blue and white teams. This weekend is their last opportunity for a practice meet before the official launch of the season next weekend when they will head to Grand Junction for the Mesa State Invite.

The blue and white scrimmage will take place on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 9 a.m.
