BYU to host Dixie State in first home meet of the season
PROVO, Utah – The BYU swim and dive teams will host Dixie State on Saturday, Oct. 23 for the Cougars' first home meet of the season.
"We are excited to compete this Saturday with the Trailblazers," said interim head coach Shari Skabelund. "It will be fun to have a semi-normal meet."
The Cougars most recently faced several teams, including Dixie State, at the Intermountain Shootout Invitational over the Oct. 4-5 weekend. BYU picked up 23 first-place finishes in Colorado, with several freshmen earning their first wins as Cougars.
Saturday's meet will take place at the Richards Building Pool at 11 a.m. MDT. Admission is free, and spectators are asked to wear masks in consistency with the BYU Athletics policy for indoor events. The meet will be streamed live on Facebook.
