Shay shines at Pre-Nationals

TRAVERSE CITY -- Who says you can't go home again?

Running in the Midwest for the first time since transferring from Michigan State, Brigham Young University junior Stephan Shay (Central Lake) just missed out on a top 25 finish in the Blue Division at the NCAA Pre-Nationals in Terre Haute, Ind.

Shay finished 26th overall with a time of 23:52. Shay was also the top runner for BYU, which finished 11th as a team with 278 points.
