Harper and Bahr are Tops in Time Trial
PROVO -- Junior Amber Harper and freshman Alden Bahr ran team best times in the intersquad race at Kiwanis Park on Friday afternoon.
The women ran a three-mile course with Harper posting a time of 18:01.2. Harper is a native of Orem, where she ran for Orem High School. Earlier this season she placed second at the BYU Alumni Invitational and 11th at the BYU Autumn Classic.
On the men's 4-mile course Bahr crossed the finish line with a time of 21:00.0. Bahr is also from Orem, but spent his high school days at Mountain View High School. In his first season at BYU he has ran times of 21:46.1 at the BYU Autumn Classic (4 Mile) and 26:06 at the Griak Invitational (8K).
