Intersquad Time Trial
PROVO -- The men's and women's teams will be joining each other at a course at Kiwanis Park in Provo for an intersquad race on Friday at 3:30 pm.
"This is an important time trial because it will help select the last of the 12 athletes that will go on to Pre-Nationals," women's head coach Patrick Shane said. "Between the 25 girls it's going to be some pretty stiff competition."
Men's head coach Ed Eyestone said the time trial is going to be a good opportunity for some of his younger guys to get some experience.
The race will be a three-mile time trial for the women and four mile for the men.
With last week's win at the Griak Invitational, the men moved back into the No. 4 rank in the nation. After placing second behind No. 1 Duke, the women remain in the No. 6 spot.
